Lanier Dog Park opened in August 2018 after Martha and Keith (Slam) petitioned for 7 1/2 years. The creation of the dog run gave the community a safe place to take their dog and allow them play off-lease. For the past 3 years, Lanier Dog Park operated on the back of volunteers. The active volunteers decided to create The Lanier Dog Park Owner’s Association (LPDOA) in January 2022.

LPDOA’s mission is to ensure that Lanier Dog Park remains a safe place for the community and their dogs. Our main goal is to create a welcoming environment for our dog owners. LPDOA will handle the regular maintenance and improvement of the dog park. We currently have plans to expand the large dog park and would like the renovations to start by Spring of 2023.
